Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], September 10 (ANI): National Congress Party (SCP) MLA Jayant Patil, claimed that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is now controlled by his consultants ‘to a great extent’ on Tuesday.
Speaking at a press conference, NCP-SCP leader Jayant Patil said, “Ajit Pawar is not the same anymore, I don’t know if his nature has changed or not but he has hired consultants for what to say in his speeches in front of the media, they have been given the responsibility by spending a lot of money.”
He said that Ajit Pawar speaks in the way he is advised by his consultants.
“He (Ajit Pawar) speaks in the manner he is advised,” Jayant Patil added.
“The branding work has been done on a large scale. What he (Ajit Pawar) is saying now is not on his wish, the consultant is controlling him to a great extent,” NCP (SCP) MLA Jayant Patil stated.
This comes after Ajit Pawar’s recent statement that society does not like rifts in families during one of his ‘Jan Samman Yatras.’
Earlier today, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar refuted reports of a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss a seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha election.
Pawar clarified that their discussion in Mumbai was limited to farming-related issues, including concerns about cotton and soybean crops. He also mentioned his request to not ban onion imports to ensure fair prices for onion farmers.
Ajit Pawar said, “There was no such discussion…I did meet Amit Shah yesterday as he was in Mumbai for Ganpati Darshan…I did discuss about some issues related to farming realated to cotton, soyabean..I have also requested not to ban import of onion .. we need to see how onion farmers gets good price of their produce …i discussed all this issues .. But as some news paper reported about meeting is false and baseless no facts in it.”
Ajit Pawar added that “We all will be sitting together to discuss all 288 seats …which seat to be given to whom will be discussed… maximum discussion has been done …few seats are remaining and those seats will be discussed soon..exact number will come once our final discussion.”
Ajit Pawar said, ” I have never said that I will contest alone. Those who are making such statements, you must ask them. I have no reason to respond to others’s statements. We are focused on making sure our schemes reach people for their benefits.” (ANI)
