Ambala (Haryana) [India], September 30 (ANI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi have kickstarted the business end of the Congress campaign in Haryana with several rallies and meetings scheduled. On Monday the Lok Sabha LoP arrived in Ambala to campaign for the party in Ambala and Kurukshetra ahead of the assembly elections in the state from October 5.
Congress MP Kumari Shelja, said that she was sure Congress would win in Haryana.

“We are doing very well. We are confident we will win the Haryana elections. Wherever Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are going, the people and the party are getting a new energy,” Shelja said speaking to the media persons.
On September 29, Shelja, while campaigning in Ambala for party candidate Parminder Pari, stated that the decision regarding the Chief Ministerial candidate would be made by the party’s high command.”The CM face will be decided by the party high command after the elections,” Shelja responded when asked about the Congress candidate for the post of Chief Minister in Haryana
Kumari Shelja further claimed that the party is receiving overwhelming public support.
Speaking to the press in Ambala, she said, “We are receiving massive support from the people, and we are hopeful that they will vote for the party, enabling us to form the government. Ambala is my old constituency, which is why I have come here. Tomorrow, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will visit this area. Our manifestos are always truthful, and we never make false promises.”
Earlier, she campaigned in support of the party’s candidate from the Kalka assembly seat, Pradeep Chaudhary, expressing confidence that he would emerge victorious in the upcoming assembly elections, despite facing numerous challenges.
“Congress candidate from Kalka, Pradeep Chaudhary, has faced many challenges. He has always stood by the public. The BJP has consistently conspired against Congress leaders. I am confident that people will vote for the Congress candidate in large numbers,” Shelja told reporters on Sunday. (ANI)
