Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 12 (ANI): On the inaugural landing of the IAF C-295 at Navi Mumbai’s International airport here, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday said that it was a “stuntbaazi” for the assembly elections.
Speaking in a press conference, Raut said “This is ‘stuntbaazi’ for the elections in the state. The government’s people have brought all the land in the adjacent area there. So to raise the price of the land, they are doing this drama. They are just working as contractors. In one minute, they make 15 decisions.”
Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde said that the Navi Mumbai airport would be a boon for the people.
“Navi Mumbai Airport will prove to be a boon for the people. Today C-295 successfully landed at Navi Mumbai Airport. The Airport will be named Lokneta DB Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport,” Shinde said.
“This will be the largest airport, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, and today the first runway’s test landing has taken place,” CM Shinde further added.
He mentioned that they have set a target to complete the airport by March 2025, and commercial flight operations will commence then.
He asserted that his government is doing welfare work ‘quickly’, adding that the Mahayuti government is fulfilling all its commitments.
“We are ready for the flight as well as for the fight. We do what we say, we don’t say what won’t happen; let’s see what happens in the future. Our work is done quickly. We started Ladli Behan Yojana and now money goes to the accounts of sisters quickly,” Shinde added.
He highlighted the work done by the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, saying all the schemes initiated by their government have already been launched.
“Our work is swift, not slow and sluggish. All the schemes we have initiated have been launched quickly. Those who talk slowly later say there’s no money. We started the Laadli Behna Yojana, and money is being transferred to the sisters’ accounts promptly. Our plans are always executed swiftly. We have worked to bring good days into people’s lives. The opposition has tried to halt many schemes, but I want to say that no scheme will be stopped,” CM Shinde stated.(ANI)
