Patna (Bihar) [India], December 7 (ANI): LJP (R) MP Arun Bharti on Saturday, criticized the opposition party for attempting to discredit a peaceful BPSC student protests by infiltrating it with anti-social elements.
He further said that it is government’s responsibility to enhance various examination systems, specifically mentioning BPSC.
“It is the government’s responsibility to improve the different examination systems, BPSC should do this. In the same sequence, the opposition political party, which has now become irrelevant, tried to defame the protest by sending in its anti-social elements in the peaceful protest of the students regarding their concerns. They tried to play with the future of the youth. We condemn this. No party should make issues related to the future of the youth a political weapon,” he said.
He also lauded the work of NDA government in Bihar and said, “We are visiting every districts of Bihar … and we are seeing that NDA alliance is working strongly on the ground .. and we see that NDA is going to fight this election strongly.”
Regarding BPSC exam protests, the protesting students are demanding that exams be held in ‘One Shift and One Paper’ to avoid the normalisation process.
YouTuber Khan Sir joined the protests by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) aspirants in Patna earlier on Friday against the commission over the anticipated changes in exam pattern.
Amid the ongoing protest by civil service aspirants against the Bihar Public Service Committee (BPSC), renowned Educator and Youtuber Faizal Khan was detained on Friday.
Earlier in day, he was released from Patna’s Gardanibagh Police Station on Friday night after being in detention.
Khan Sir, while speaking to the media over the ongoing protests, said that they have nothing to do with politics and would stand with those who will listen to their demands.
“Only a week is left. How unfortunate is this that we need to protest for our demand on the land of Chanakya and that too, just one week before the examinations. We want the president (of BPSC) to say that there will be no normalisation the examinations will be held in one shift and one paper will be given to all the students. We don’t have personal qualms with anyone. The process can be good, but the person implementing it should also be good. Can they assure us that? We will not move from here until normalisation is assured to be removed,” Khan sir told reporters earlier. (ANI)
